As an artist I am constantly fascinated by the inner workings of nature. Its visual complexities and philosophical possibilities form a base from which I begin my exploration.

My interest in soil, molecular structures and other articles of life manifests in imagined shapes and found materials. A variety of experiments reveal themselves with new techniques and compositions. For me, the forms become what I refer to as the constant companion, or the soul, taking the form of contemplative subject matter.

My current sculptures and paintings are part of a conceptual journey; part aesthetics and part science fiction. Inspired by unsettling current events globally I have utilized basic materials which contribute to life. Do these "pods" hold the potential to sustain life again? Is there the possibility of a "Do Over"? I leave a certain amount of ambiguity in the work seeking to illuminate as well as explore metaphysical possibilities.
