"Someday I'll Take Art"

 Thinking about art classes?  Here's what's offered at The C Gallery for 2011-2012

First semester on-going classes begin Wednesday, September 7th, and Thursday September 8th.
There is rolling enrollment. We like to have a semester to create art community, but necessity sometimes causes folks to come a month late or leave a month early.  Some have been here for years.

Wednesdays: 9am til noon with a continental breakfast at the break. Class limited to 5.  OR....
Wednesdays: 6pm til 9pm with evening pastry/fruit/tea break.  Class limited to 5.

       Instructor: Connie Rohde:  Basic Drawing Skills and Composition with extended Art-Making.
Fall Focus is Watercolor with award-winning guest artist Carole Patton in October.

September: Gigantic Florals, Georgia O'Keeffe inspired. Guest artist 9/14.
November:  Preparation for The C Gallery "Small Works: show. "Kitchen Series"
December:  OFF / January: Working the Figure / February: Choice - FOOD or Great Master Influence
 Cost: $200  per month; 10% discount for semester pre-pay.   Enrollment updates,

Instructor: Sharon Tate: Beginning/Intermediate  Acrylic/Oil Painting
September:  Still Life with a reflective item, on a background that is patterned with stenciling, and textured with modeling gel.  Cezanne will be our inspiration.
October: Guest artist with hopes for outdoor work before the weather turns cold.  Pieces will be
12" x 12"  for the November "Small Works: show at the gallery. Topic selected by guest artist. TBA.
November:
Small works, all pieces the same size, no larger than 12" x 12". These will be one session paintings, emphasizing composition impact with minimal items used. Kitchen topics fruit/veggies.
December:

February:
Choice: Food or Great Master Focus based on your skill needs or subject matter preference.
